A Clause for Claus, a Look into the Myth of Santa Claus

So, 'tis the season and all of that. So, I though this would be an interesting post.

I visited some friends this weekend, one of them having grown up in Holland told us a bit of Santa mythology from his childhood. Did you know that Santa apparently came and ate the bad children and he had slaves that worked for him. Doesn't sound so jolly to me.

Anyway, chime in with some of your favorite Santa mythologies/traditions.

Personally, I love Santa tracking websites and the fact that the post office receives MILLIONS of letters bound for the North Pole each year. This makes me happy and filled with Christmas cheer.

Here is a Wikipedia link to get you thinking!
